OUR STORY

Mireille Bonello began modelling at a very young age, which opened the door to hosting various local events. She started off hosting pageant shows, which then led to numerous television programmes on a number of local TV stations, including PBS, Net TV and One TV. She has also hosted a Saturday-afternoon variety show, and several fashion and music shows. She has also hosted a number of major events on the island, including the Malta Music Awards, Miss World Malta and the Malta Song for Europe.

This led her to pursue further her growing interest in fashion and design and after having worked for  thirteen years in accounting, ten years ago, she decided to open her first boutique.  Her love for fashion, started when she was just a young girl, as her family owned a popular boutique for children's clothing in Valletta . 

MILU’ by mimi, took her to different countries around the world, where she met various world re-known artistic designers.  Tarik Ediz, Mac Duggal and Janique are just a few of them. The collections of all these designers can be found at Milu'. Her yearly visits abroad during which she sources the exclusive dresses for her shop, Mireille has had various opportunities to attend design courses at  prestigious educational institutions including Parsons University of New York,  The ten years experience garnered in the industry has led Mireille to develop an enhanced understanding of what her clients want, thus ensuring their consistent satisfaction with the exclusive dresses sold at Milu'.
